Current Projects

La Filanda and Bovio are both within the historical Liberty quarters, which house the new National Research Centre, co-funded by the EU to attract EU and international researchers.  Bari has a rich Liberty heritage. The Liberty Style, known internationally as Art Nouveau, emerged between the late 1800s and early 1900s.

It was a new architectural language for its time. It broke away from rigid past styles, introducing curves, floral motifs, natural elements, and refined decoration. Facades came alive with apotropaic masks, allegorical figures, sinuous wrought iron, and symbolic details, turning buildings into true artworks.

In 2019/2020, Bari was named Best Liberty City of the Year by the Italia Liberty association and by the EU, highlighting its architectural richness in these zones.

The approved project for La Filanda and the new Bovio project both flow in this direction architecturally, obviously updated to 2026+ and follow the Green Deal trend of the EU in building and construction (https://emag.archiexpo.com/transforming-architecture-through-the-european-green-deal/).

Both La Filanda and the Palazzo Bovio passed through the same structural, financial and market value analysis submitted to Archangel Italy by the above. La Filanda was chosen as we wanted a different take on the only specimen of Manchester Industrial Architecture in the South of Italy.

Its uniqueness makes it subject to the support which it has received directly from the Central Government in Rome through its Ministry of Culture. La Filanda is also under the professional  intermediary auspices of UniCredit RE Services, which approved Archangel’s EU position and stature to complete the work with its nominated team. UniCredit is a pan-European Commercial Bank with a unique service offering globally, but specifically strong in Italy, Germany, Austria, and Central and Eastern Europe.

Their purpose is to empower communities to progress, delivering the best-in-class for all stakeholders, unlocking the potential of their clients.

Archangel Italy, which is the executive legal arm of Archangel USA, has already set in motion all regional approvals in terms of engineering and architecture for the building to regain its former glory with a new community scope.

Real Estate brokers are vying to participate in its marketing post completion. In fact, they also participated in the drawing up of the estimates contained in the promotional figures. In all the (weekly) planning meetings at La Filanda, Unicredit RE Services is also present with its top officials in Bari, Puglia and the south of Italy, due to the nature of the project, which is clearly of regional, national and EU interest.

Palazzo Viale Bovio

Noci Luxury Resort

Noci Luxury Resort : a mini village (piccolo borgo), is referred to as "the large one" in the 1853 inventory of the assets of the Monastery of the Poor Clares in Noci. It took on the name Monache in 1650 when the monastery purchased it. Following the dissolution of the Order of the Poor Clares by the liberal government of PM Agostino Depretis, the farmstead was purchased by the Municipality of Noci in 1877. Located in the center of the ancient state-owned forest of Upper Bonelli, the farmstead was subdivided and parcelled out in the last decade of the 19th century. It is the only authentic borghetto of Trulli in Puglia. Noci is also the capital of Enogastronomia (farm to fork wine, food, and olive oil).

The farmstead features a large farmhouse complex befitting a major agricultural enterprise.

Essentially, it consists of:

1) Five large barns for stables;

2) Four haylofts and barns located on the ground floor of the building;

3) Six rooms for storage and farmhands' quarters on the first floor;

4) A rural chapel;

5) A complex of about 20 trulli arranged in a line to form a courtyard;

6) Other buildings connected in a "gable" style.

The vision shared and supported by the local authorities is to turn it into a top-class resort retaining its authenticity. The resort which in 2025 hosted the G7 Heads of State meeting in Italy is similar in experience but not in authenticity. Surrounding land can be incorporated into the project. Analysis puts this in the 50 % ROI range. (Turnaround 24 months)
